||Black Carp is an invasive fish.
|Where did it come from?
||It was brought to the United States from China to control snails in fish farms.
||Black Carp have dark fins and only eat molluscs like snails, clams and mussels.
|Where is it found?
||They are found in the Mississippi River in the United States. So far, none have been found in Ontario.
|What does it do?
||Black Carp eat snails and mussels that are important food for our native fish. If they get into Ontario they will cause great harm to the food web.
|What can you do?
||Don’t dump live fish into Ontario lakes and rivers!
